One of my favourite hobbies as a teen was watching my favourite TV Shows and movies!
Movie fan or not, you must admit that you must have been obsessed with, at least one, teen series or film as a teenager (nowadays, with Netflix it’s a sure thing)
So if you want to remember one or more of your favorite teen movies, relax and enjoy our TOP-5 list!
5) 17 Again (2009)
Ohh, that’s a classic one! Mike is an adult man that believes his life isn’t exciting enough and wishes to be a teenager again…Guess what?
His wish comes true and he becomes 17 (again)!
Things don’t go exactly as he had thought and as a result, he takes his wish back!
Zac Efron plays Mike as a teenager and Matthew Perry plays the adult Mike! Great and classic!
4) The Kissing Booth (2018)
Netflix’s “The Kissing Booth” is one of the most TEEN teen movies on the platform!
This film will touch everyone who had or has a long-time crush as a teenager.
The protagonist, Elle, after some crazy events, is finally a couple with her long-time crush!
Fun Fact: the couple is a couple in real life too!
Romanticism and humor are essentials elements of the movie.
3) Sierra Burgess Is A Loser
That’s another great film from Netflix.
The plot of the movie focus on Sierra, a girl that -we can say- differs a lot from other teenagers of her school.
Although she has a hard time on her daily routine, she achieves to start chatting with a hot boy from another school.
She is trying to hide her intensity at first, but for how long…?
The film “hits” important matters like bullying and teenage relationships. Totally worth watching!
2) To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
Lara is a teenage girl that has a unique hobby….she writes letters for every boy she had a crush on!
Of course, she keeps the letters only for herself….until the unexpected happened: every letter was sent to the boy she wrote it for!
Except for awkwardness, the film also points out other strong feelings like love, forgiveness, and self-confidence!
Innovative and smart, this movie will get you through a lot of different feelings!
1) Shazam! (2019)
And here is something that most of you probably wasn’t expecting: a film from DC Universe!
Shazam is a superhero from the comic universe of DC that got his first appearance on the big screen in 2019.
The plot follows Billy, a foster teenager that magically acquires superpowers.
Well, along with the superpowers, Billy is also transformed into an adult man when shouting “Shazam”.
The plot is pretty interesting and gives a special shoutout to family relationships and foster siblings! Shazam it is!
